PARADE DISTRICT
I have had the opportunity to create the entire set of filler buildings depicted in the Parade District in We Happy Few from scratch. I have also done the level art and lighting of the areas depicted in the shots.
Creating these buildings has been a challenging process. I have first created sets of Modular pieces inside Autodesk Maya, then assembled them into building meshes that I've then deformed so that they feel less stiff and rigid. The finals are between 25 and 50K poly, which was quite a challenging feat because of their sheer size. Dirt maps for the buildings have been generated using Substance Painter. |
